Coming to Netflix Instant April 2019

A tentative list of film and TV titles that are making their way to Netflix Instant Streaming during the month of April 2019.  Will update as we learn more.

Note:  Still got format and maybe a few misspellings to work on.  But we are now up to date!

Deliverance (1972)
A canoeing trip down a Georgia river turns into a battle of survival when redneck locals descend on a group of friends; with Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds.

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002)
They don’t say Ya-Ya all the time?  Southern comedy as a group of female friends go through decades of life together; with Sandra Bullock and Ellen Burstyn.

The Dukes of Hazzard (2005)
The Duke boys and their cousin Daisy try to save Uncle Jesse from the latest scheme by Boss Hogg in this TV reboot suffering from a flat tire; with Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott.

The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning (2007)
This made for DVD prequel to the 2005 film shows how the Duke Boys ended up living with Uncle Jesse and their cousin Daisy; with Randy Wayne and Jonathan Bennett.

Eagle vs. Shark (2007)
An oddball is blind to an awkward girl’s affection for him until a plan for revenge on a high school foe brings them together; with Jemaine Clement and Loren Horsley.

Evolution (2001)
The military and government become involved when two community college geology professors discover microscopic alien life forms on a meteorite; with David Duchovny and Julianne Moore.

The Fifth Element (1997)
Imaginative sci-fi epic about a 23th century cab driver who gets involved with an alien who might be able to save the world.  Fun; with Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman.

Fracture (2007)

Freddy vs Jason (2003)

Friday the 13th (2009)

Get Smart (2008)
Rookie agent Maxwell Smart teams up with sharp Agent 99 to thwart an evil terrorist group.  Clever reboot; with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway.

The Golden Compass (2007)
Precocious orphan trades a carefree existence in college for an otherworldly adventure in the Far North; with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.

Hedgehogs (2016)
A hedgehog suffering from amnesia teams up with a pigeon on a big city journey to save his habitat from a human threat; with voices of Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox.

I Am Legend (2007)
It’s up to scientist Robert Neville to save the world from a virus turning humans into bloodthirsty mutants.  It was OK; with Will Smith and Alice Braga.

I Am Maris (2018)
Documentary focuses on a young woman struggling with anorexia and self-acceptance who finds hope in yoga; with Maris Degener.

Jagat (2015)
A Tamilian boy is pressured in 1990s Malaysia by his father to focus on school, but he’s drawn into a life of crime by his uncles; with Harvind Raj and Jibrail Rajhula.

King Kong (2005)
Not bad remake of the classic film follows explorers and filmmakers as they head to Skull Island in search of a giant gorilla; with Naomi Watts and Adrien Brody.

Lakeview Terrace (2008)
A family settles into their dream home in Los Angeles only to run afoul of their off-kilter cop neighbor.  Forgettable thriller; with Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington.

The Legend of Michael Mishra (2016)
To win over the heart of the woman he loves, a notorious kidnapper tries to change his ways; with Arshad Warsi and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Love O2O (2016)
College stud falls for a computer science major thanks to her skills in an online role playing game; with Jing Boran and Angelababy.

Monster House (2006)
Three friends search for the truth about a scary abandoned house in their neighborhood that may have gained an appetite for people; with voices of Mitchell Musso and Sam Lerner.

Observe and Report (2009)
A mall cop starts competing with a real police officer when a flasher strikes at his mall.  Not for all tastes, but pretty funny; with Seth Rogen and Anna Faris.

Obsessed (2009)
Sucessful executive with a perfect life sees it starting to fall apart when a sexy office temp plans to seduce and destroy him.  Passable; with Idris Elba and Beyonce Knowles.

PS, I Love You (2007)

Penelope (2006)
So-so modern fairy tale about a young woman cursed with the nose of a pig planning on spending her life alone until an unlikely beau appears; with Christina Ricci and James McAvoy.

Pineapple Express (2008)
Violence harshes the stoner comedy about a lazy pothead and his dealer after witnessing a murder involving a drug kingpin and a corrupt cop; with Seth Rogen and James Franco.

Pinky Memsaab (2018)

RV (2006)
