    1. 6 Days (not 6 Seconds, my mistake) shows as as a Netflix original film to be streamed on Netflix UK on 10/3. It is the story of the capture of hostages in the Iranian Embassy in London by terrorists in 1980 and the response by the British SAS. I saw a trailer for the movie on YouTube and thought it was coming to Netflix UZs. However, it only shows up for Netflix UK when you look at what’s coming to Netflix US, Canada, UK and Australia so it may not appear at all in the US.

Hooten & The Lady was a British show owned by Sky TV that aired on the CW this summer. The CW must not own the rights to that show for streaming purposes (other than on its own site) since it otherwise should have shown up on Netflix around September 18.

    2. Alright. Kinda curious at this point why we haven't gotten Penn and Teller: Fool Us here in the States. Your statement makes me feel like Hooten is more of a long shot at this point. But the lack of P&T just leaves me disappointed; surely they could sign them for a special at least?

Also, it's interesting that I just checked Netflix for 6 Days and it all but shows up with cast. No picture though. So maybe it will show up on the 3rd?

    3. I don’t think Netflix got the US streaming rights to unscripted CW shows, including Penn & Teller, Masters of Illusions and some others.but I do think I saw Penn & Teller on the list for Netflix UK. After the prospective fiasco with Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, we are probably lucky we get anything from the CW..

Today, I received an e-mail notice from Netflix that Season 2 of Cleverman was now streaming. Why can’t they send out notices to all their subscribers when movies liked First They Killed My Father and Our Souls at Night are released. Netflix is finally coming out with some decent movie product but these films get absolutely no support from Netflix apart from screening in some film festivals. If this is the extent of the promotion that Netflix is giving its films, why bother at all. I have never seen anyone so willing to spend big bucks on movies and so little on publicity! What is wrong with these people? This is the equivalent of sending their movie originals direct-to-DVD.
