Coming to Netflix Streaming on March 2017

This is a tentative list of film and TV titles that are expected to be streaming on Netflix Instant sometime in March.

NOTE:  Finally done!  Now onto April!

MOVIES:

March 1:

Anastasia (1997):  An orphan girl has no idea that she may be the long lost daughter of Russia's last czar; with voices of Meg Ryan and John Cusack.

Ataud Blanco (2016):  Young mother desperately searches for her daughter after she's kidnapped by a truck driver, only to learn that she's a pawn in a deadly demonic game; with Julieta Cardinali.

Baby's Day Out (1994):  Three bumbling hoodlums kidnap a wealthy family's toddler, but stealing him is easier than hanging onto him; with Joe Mantegna and Lara Flynn Boyle.

Beak and Brain: Genius Birds from Down Under (2013):  This short documentary examines how birds use their brains, claws, and beaks to solve puzzles and create tools, among other things.

Beary Tales (2013):  While living alone in the Bohemian Forest, a famed wildlife photographer finds himself a surrogate mother to two baby bears.

Blazing Saddles (1974):
 This Mel Brooks classic satire has the misadventures of a freed slave who becomes the sheriff of a racist town; with Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder.

The Brothers (2001):  Four close friends test their bonds through various career and relationship decisions in this drama film; with Morris Chestnut and DL Hughley.

Chandani: The Daughter of the Elephant Whisperer (2010):  A young girl dreams of being an elephant driver just like her father, a predominantly male profession.

Chicago (2002):  Roxie Hart is not about to let murder get in the way of becoming a star with the help of top attorney Billy Flynn; with Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The Craft (1996):  A newcomer to a Catholic school falls in with a group of teen witches who use their powers against those who oppose them; with Robin Tunney and Fairuza Balk.

Daddy's Little Girls (2007):  While fighting to regain custody of his kids, a janitor and single father happens to fall for a kind-hearted attorney; with Idris Elba and Gabrielle Union.

Deep Run (2015):  In this documentary set in the Bible Belt, a brave young transgender Christian seeks acceptance from his community and church.

Dr. Feelgood (2016):  The habit of a Virginia doctor to overprescribe painkillers leads him to jail and his patients to deal with an opioid addiction in this documentary.

Eyewitness (1981):  A janitor who is smitten with a reporter hints that he knows more that what he's saying when the journalist comes to his workplace to investigate a murder; with William Hurt and Sigourney Weaver.

Ferngully: The Last Rainforest (1992):  A human boy who is shrunk by a sprite vows to help the fairies stop a logging company from destroying their rainforest home; with voices of Tim Curry and Robin Williams.

Frailty (2002):  Man approaches an FBI agent with information involving his family's involvement in a series of notorious Texas murders; with Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey.

Friday After Next (2002):  Craig and Day-Day work as mall security guards who have to deal with a thief stealing Christmas presents; with Ice Cube and Mike Epps.

The Gruffalo (2009):  A mouse tells tall tales about a mythical creature called the Gruffalo to get out of trouble, until he learns that the being is for real; with Helena Bonham Carter.

The Gruffalo's Child (2011):  The child of the Gruffalo ignores tales of the big bad mouse and searches the forest for the dangerous beast; with Helena Bonham Carter.

Horsemen (2008):  Detective has his hands full when he's tasked with solving a series of grisly murders based on a biblical prophecy; with Dennis Quaid and Zhang Ziyi.

Ice Girls (2016):  Teen figure skater sidelined by injury and relocated to a new town gets back on the ice thanks to a local skating rink owner; with Michaela du Toit.

Impossible Dreamers (2016):  This documentary takes a look at athletes like Gary Player and Ann Schranz for whom age is nothing but a number as they train for competition.

The Iron Giant (1999):  During the Cold War, a 9 year old boy befriends a large, but friendly giant that a paranoid government agent insists on destroying; with voices of Vin Diesel and Jennifer Aniston.

Jurassic Park (1993):  Multimillionaire decides to open a theme park where people can see live dinos, but a security breach leaves a group of humans vulnerable; with Sam Neill and Laura Dern.

Jurassic Park 3 (2001):  Group of newcomers stuck on Isla Sorna try to survive a new and deadly breed of dinos; with Sam Neill and Tea Leoni.

Kung Fu Panda (2008):  To prevent the destruction of the Valley of Peace by a former trainee, Master Shifu decides to train an unlikely newcomer prophesied as the Chosen One; with voices of Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman.

Leave the World Behind (2014):  Documentary examines the last tour for the Swedish House Mafia and uncovers why they decided to call it quits.

Less Than Zero (1987):  While visiting home, a college freshman learns that his best friend has become a party animal with a cocaine habit; with Andrew McCarthy and Robert Downey Jr.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997):  A millionaire reveals that he's genetically breeding new dinos at a secret site and it's up to a mathematician and his girlfriend to stop them from wrecking havoc in the US; with Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore.

The Man in 3B (2015):  Charismatic new tenant makes many friends in a Queens apartment building, but his popularity soon results in a murder with many suspects; with Lamman Rucker.

Meet the Firm: Revenge in Rio (2014):  Two football hooligans follow drug dealers to Brazil during the World Cup in order to hunt down the Russian mobsters that killed their friend; with Mark Preston.

Memento (2000):  Leonard tries to find the person responsible for killing his wife, despite having issues with short term memory loss following a blow to the head; with Guy Pearce and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Midnight in Paris (2011):  A writer every night travels back in time to the 1920s where he finds romance and inspiration with his artistic idols; with Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.

My Honor Was Loyalty (2015):  Committed German soldier fights with his own conscience while chaos and horror occur around him during World War 2; with Leone Frisa.

Nacho Libre (2006):  Ignacio decides to help an orphanage with its money woes by disguising himself and becoming a pro wrestler in Lucha Libre; with Jack Black.

Nila (2016):  Cabbie tries to rekindle old feelings of love towards his childhood sweetheart but finds that mature love is a complex matter; with Sruthi Hariharan.

The Omen (1976):  Adoptive parents raise an orphan as their own child until one of them suspects that the boy might be Satan's spawn; with Gregory Peck and Lee Remick.

The Preacher's Son (2017):  A respected bishop finds his reputation threatened by the public reveal of his family's romantic secrets; with Christian Keyes and Clifton Powell.

Prince Philip: The Plot to Make a King (2015):  Documentary explores the efforts by British elite to deny Prince Philip the throne due to his German ties and ambitious family.

Reclaim (2014):  Rich American couple in Puerto Rico to adopt a child gets drawn into a web of greed and violence when their kid ends up taken by scam artists; with John Cusack and Ryan Phillippe.

Revelations (2016):  A husband's and wife's four year marriage is threatened by their secret, sexually charged relationships with others; with Chetan.

Rolling Stones: Crossfire Hurricane (2012):  Recent interviews and archival footage is blended in to tell the story of the Stones from blues loving teens to rock legends.

Searching for Augusta: The Forgotten Angel of Bastogne (2014):  Documentary explores the long lost history of a black nurse during World War 2 based on her fleeting appearances in historical works.

Singing with Angels (2016):  A woman reflects on how her faith, family, and position in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir helped her to meet life's challenges; with Sarah Kent.

Slums of Beverly Hills (1998):  Gawky teen comes of age in 1970s Los Angeles while dealing with her dysfunctional family; with Natasha Lyonne and Alan Arkin.

Sustainable (2016):  Chef Rick Bayless, farmers and other people discuss the sustainable food movement and how it can affect what we eat in the future.

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006):  This rock saga is about how Jack from the Midwest met Kyle in California and decided to place their hopes in rock and roll; with Jack Black and Kyle Gass.

This is Spinal Tap (1984):  This comic mockumentary explores the rise of fictional heavy metal group Spinal Tap.  Turn this up to 11; with Michael McKean and Christopher Guest.

Tiger (2016):  An aging male boxer finds new life when he meets a fierce young female boxer and their passion soon overtakes everything else in their lives; with Leonardo Sbaraglia.

Ugly (2013):  When a 10 year old girl disappears while her father is out on an audition, her stepfather who happens to be the Mumbai chief of police leads the search; with Rahul Bhat.

xXx (2002):  Notorious underground sports enthusiast is coerced into cooperating with the government to take down a Russian crime ring; with Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson.

XXX: State of the Union (2005):  US Intelligence officer Augustus Gibbons must thwart a massive conspiracy to overthrow the government; with Ice Cube and Samuel L. Jackson.

March 2:

Danny Says (2015):  Documentary takes a look at Danny Fields, bizarre publicist who launched the career of new musical artists who would become icons over time.

Meltdown (1995):  Lawman quits his job after failing to save his wife and busload of kids from a terrorist and ends up becoming a bodyguard for an egotistical movie star.  Ten bucks says the terrorist ends up in his new life; with Jet Li.

The Salvation (2014):  Danish homesteader avenges the death of his wife and son only to anger a gang leader in the Old West; with Mads Mikklesen and Eva Green.

March 4:

Beyond Redemption (2015):  Weary undercover cop has his hands full trying to protect the kidnapped daughter of a rival triad boss from the gang he has infiltrated; with Brian Ho.

The Monkey King 2 (2016):  After escaping the Mountain of Five Elements, the Monkey King accompanies the young monk who freed him on a dangerous quest to recover sacred scrolls; with Aaron Kwok.

Parrot Heads (2016):  This documentary explores the group of Jimmy Buffett's most dedicated fans who follow the singer from concert and concert and chill out while there.  No reports of found shakers of salt.

Safe Haven (2013):  A mysterious woman finds a new life and love in a small North Carolina town, but hides a terrifying secret from everyone; with Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough.

March 6:

Better Off Single (2016):  After quitting his job and breaking up with his girlfriend, Charlie has freedom.  But did he lose his sanity along the way; with Aaron Tveit.

The Great Gilly Hopkins (2016):  Rebellious Gilly has been in and out of a lot of foster homes, but her newest foster parent named Maime Trotter might prove to be a match; with Kathy Bates and Glenn Close.

The Perfect Weapon (2016):  An elite assassin in a dystopian future reveals his humanity and ends up being targeted by the totalitarian forces he once served; with Johnny Messner and Steven Seagal.

March 7:

Amy Schumer: The Leather Special (2017):  Sex, dating, and the absurdities of fame are among the subjects riffed on by the ribald Schumer in this new special set in Denver.

March 8:

Hands of Stone (2016):  Biopic of Roberto Duran from his hardscrabble beginnings to his peak as a talented boxer; with Robert De Niro and Edgar Ramirez.

The Waterboy (1998):  The waterboy for a college football team finds that his rage leaves him to a tackling sensation for his team.  But can he convince his mother to let him play; with Adam Sandler and Kathy Bates.

March 9:

Match (2014):  A dance professor agrees to an interview by a couple for a dissertation, but their probing questions reveal a hidden agenda; with Patrick Stewart and Carla Gugino.

Peter and the Farm (2016):  Peter Dunning has a bucolic hilltop organic farm in Vermont, but making ends meet proves difficult for the grizzled hard drinker in this documentary.

The Sunshine Makers (2015):  The rise and fall of improbable drug counterculture pioneers Tim Scully and Nicholas Sand is revealed in this documentary.

Thithi (2015):  The funeral of a centenarian in a South Indian village brings together a free-spirited son, inheritance-hungry grandson and girl-crazy great grandson; with Thammegowda S.

The Young Offenders (2015):  Two foolish Irish teens steal bikes and head off to the coast to search for a bale of cocaine from a smuggler's sunken ship; with Alex Murphy and Chris Walley.

March 10:

100 Metros (2016):  Man diagnosed with multiple sclerosis decides to train for an Ironman triathlon with the help of his cranky father-in-law; with Dani Rovira.

Bana Masal Anlatma (2015):  A minibus driver is a steady presence in his close-knit neighborhood until he meets a beauty that throws his life into chaos; with Hande Dogandemir.

Berlin Kaplani (2012):  A losing streak places an unlikely Turkish-German boxer in deep debt to his sponsors and in need of a miracle; with Ata Demirer.

Beynelmilel (2006):  A local musician and his band are forced to perform for a right-wing dictator, but his daughter plots to make the music subversive; with Cezmi Baskin.

The Boss's Daughter (2015):  While working together, a married textile foreman has a torrid affair with his boss's daughter leading to trouble at the plant and at home; with Christa Theret.

Burning Sands (2017):  Promising student has some hard thinking ahead of him when his fraternity's violent hazing leads to a disastrous hell night; with Trevor Jackson and Alfre Woodard.

Cok Filim Hareketler Bunlar (2010):  Summer holiday vignettes follow vacationers as they deal with various crises during their time off; with Ayca Erturan.

Dedemin Fisi (2016):  The pending death of the family patriarch leads to a wild scramble by family members to determine who gets his inheritance; with Onur Buldu.

Deliha (2014):  A dotty woman long on self-confidence but short on sense sets her sights on a hunky photographer new to her neighborhood; with Gupse Ozay.

Drawers (2015):  Deniz is forced to deal with her controlling father and repressed sexuality after she ends up in the hospital following a stint of self-destruction; with Ece Dizdar.

Dugun Dernek (2013):  Ismail joins his friends on a road trip to a mosque during the first day of Ramadan and meets his son who is planning a quick wedding; with Ahmet Kural.

Dugun Dernek 2: Sunnet (2015):  Ismail and his friends end up in trouble when his grandson's circumcision leads to a buzz-making event for the town; with Ahmet Kural.

Eyyvah Eyyvah (2010):  Clarinet player is forced to move to Istanbul where he meets a singer who is enjoying sudden fame; with Dernet Akbag.

Eyyvah Eyyvah 2 (2011):  Having found his father, the clarinet player tries to land the girl of his dreams with the help of his new friend; with Dernet Akbag.

Eyyvah Eyyvah 3 (2014):  The clarinet player struggles with life after marrying his true love while his spouse copes with her fame; with Dernet Akbag.

G.O.R.A (2004):  Carpet dealer and UFO photo forger is abducted by aliens where he helps friends escape from a meteorite strike and perhaps find freedom; with Cern Yilmaz.

Gallipoli (2006):  Docudrama showcases the World War 1 battle using re-enactments, animation, and expert interviews; with Zafer Ergin.

Hayat Opucugu (2015):  A high strung man stops seeing doom and gloom on the way when he meets vivacious Hayat, but she has to search her own soul as well; with Ali Sunal.

Hokkabaz (2006):  A not-so-talented magician tries to revive his career with a tour where one of his illusions ends up being more effective than expected; with Cem Yilmaz.

Husband Factor (2015):  A thirty year old woman who hasn't taken the traditional path to love gets advice from her family and friends before reconnecting with her high school crush; with Ezgi Mola.

Hukumet Kadin (2013):  An uneducated mother of eight becomes mayor and finds her skills as a parent come in handy in running a town as well; with Demet Akbag.

Hukumet Kadin 2 (2013):  A housewife squares off with a liar and mayoral opponent in order to get a second term; with Demet Akbag.

I Saw the Sun (2009):  A long war forces members of a Kurdish family to abandon their ancestral home in Southeast Turkey and relocate in bustling Istanbul; with Altan Erkekli.

Incir Receli 2 (2014):  A singer-songwriter still in grief over losing his true love has given up on life, until he meets a kind-hearted woman; with Halil Sezai Paracikoglu.

Icimdeki Ses (2015):  An insecure writer has a chance at true happiness with the girl of his dream, but has to deal with his watchful eyes of his live-in mother; with Engin Gunaydin.

Kara Bela (2015):  A middle-aged man's uneventful road trip turns into a wild race for survival with killers after him; with Cengiz Bozkurt.

Kocan Kadar Konus 2: Dirilis (2016):  Efsun has found Mr. Right and their relationship is turning serious, but it's threatened by their eccentric families; with Ezgi Mola.

Labirent (2011):  Massive explosion in Istanbul causes Turkish intelligence officers to explore a new terrorist group and take actions that America and Britain disagrees with; with Timucin Esen.

Limonata (2015):  To grant the dying wish of his father, a young man drives to Istanbul to find his illegimate brother and take him back to Macedonia; with Ertan Saban.

Mucize (2015):  A teacher who is sent away to a remote mountain town helps his village to build a school and inspire lives along the way; with Talat Bulut.

Neckan (2015):  In 1956 Morrocco, a Spanish lawyer who was adopted as a child unravels a murderous plot as he searches for the truth about his biological family; with Pablo Rivero.

Neseli Hayat (2009):  While dealing with troubles and caught between cultures, Riza takes on the job of a mall Santa and finds that real life and make believe life isn't so different; with Yilmaz Erdogan.

Niyazi Gul Dortnala (2015):  Veterinary professor seeking the formula behind a magical elixir ends up caught in a mobster's horse racing scheme; with Ata Demirer.

Osman Pazarlama (2016):  Fast talking Osman tries to invent and promote a gadget that will help him to strike it rich and win the girl of his dreams; with Sahan Gokbakar.

Patron Mutlu Son Istiyor (2014):  Sent to a remote village to write a screenplay, Sinan finds inspiration to spare with colorful locals, misadventures, and love; with Tolga Cevik.

The Plane Tree (2011):  Matriarch and her grandson bond over family picnics held each other month until her health causes conflict among family members; with Nurgul Yesilcay.

Recep Ivedik (2008):  Man finds the wallet of a rich man and decides to take a road trip to return it leading to an old love and a new life of luxury; with Sahan Gokbakar.

Recep Ivedik 2 (2009):  When his grandmother becomes ill, Recep goes about the process of finding a job and getting a suitable wife; with Sahan Gokbakar.

Recep Ivedik 3 (2010):  Following the death of his grandmother (sorry for the spoiler), Recep struggles to cope until a distantly related woman moves in with him and changes his life; with Sahan Gokbakar.

Recep Ivedik 4 (2014):  When the lot where he played soccer is sold off, Recep enters a reality contest to win enough money to buy the field back; with Sahan Gokbakar.

Refugee (2016):  Documentary explores the refugee crisis in Europe and how it has affected one family that have separated; with Cate Blanchett.

Romantik Komedi (2010):  Inspired by a friend's wedding and bored with her life, Esra quits her job and dumps her boyfriend which leads to some interesting adventures; with Sedef Avci.

Romantik Komedi 2: Bekarliga Veda (2013):  Didem tries everything to get an actor to propose to her, but between a secret bachelor party and a beautiful co-star, the relationship might get rocky; with Sinem Kobal.

Sadece Sen (2014):  An ex-boxer falls for a blind woman and their efforts to start a new life together is threatened by his violent past; with Ibrahim Celikkol.

Sen Kimsin? (2012):  A klutzy PI who's desperate for cash searches for a rich woman's missing girl, but the investigation runs into various surprises and mishaps; with Tolga Cevik.

Vizontele (2001):  Rural town in Anatolia gets its first TV set in 1974, an event that leads to excitement and fear by its villagers; with Yilmaz Erdogan.

Vizontele Tuuba (2004):  A civil war looms as a TV obsessed small Turkish town greets a bureaucrat and his daughter with designs of modernizing their library; with Yilmaz Erdogan.

Zenne Dancer (2012):  A gay man is inspired by a male belly dancer and a naive lover to come out to his family, but things take a dark turn; with Kerem Can.

March 11:

Blow (2001):  A cocaine smuggler rises from poverty to become one of the biggest American drug dealers before his eventual downfall; with Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.

Showroom (2014):  A family man who has lost his job and reaching the end of his rope gets a new assignment as an apartment salesman and becomes obsessed with the showroom; with Diego Peretti.

March 13:

Coming Through the Rye (2015):  A prep school student and his friend take a road trip to meet reclusive author JD Salinger and get his permission to adapt Catcher in the Rye; with Alex Wolff.

Future Baby (2016):  Documentary explores the history and innovations of reproduction and reveals possibilities of the future of the human genome.

Million Dollar Baby (2004):  Trainer Frankie Dunn reluctantly agrees to help coach and mentor female boxer Maggie Fitzgerald even as both deal with family issues; with Clint Eastwood and Hilary Swank.

Must Love Dogs (2005):  A divorcee isn't ready for romance, but her sister spurs the suitors when she signs up her sibling for an online dating service; with Diane Lane and John Cusack.

March 14:

Angry Indian Goddesses (2015):  Photographer invites a bunch of her female friends to her Goa home, but her announcement stirs up emotions among all of them; with Amrit Maghera.

Being 17 (2016):  Rival teens end up living together when the mother of one of them is hospitalized and the other's mother invites the ailing one's son to her home; with Sandrine Kiberlain.

Jim Norton: Mouthful of Shame (2017):  Hilariously profane comic Norton riffs on relationships, desire, and sexual proclivities in his new Netflix special.

Pete's Dragon (2016):  The story of a strange boy claiming to live with a giant green dragon spurs a forest ranger and her daughter to find out the truth; with Bryce Dallas Howard and Robert Redford.

Asian Connection (2016):  Two Americans get into trouble in Cambodia when they inadvertantly steal from a local mob boss; with Steven Seagal.

Asoka (2001):  Elaborate Bollywood epic focuses on a man transforming from a vengeful, cunning warrior to a legendary leader and teacher of Buddhism; with Shah Rukh Khan.

Barrio 13 parte 3 (2007):  Young drug addict moves to the big city where his addiction leads him to a new life of crime and destruction; with Jorge Luke.

Barrio de Cholos (2002):  In the Tijuana slums, an ambitious young man attempts to break the shackles of an oppressive life to go to America to pursue his dreams; with Eleazar Garcia Jr.

Bon Cop, Bad Cop (2006):  English speaking cop from Toronto and a French speaking cop from Montreal must fight language barriers and work together to solve a crime; with Colm Feore.

El de los Lentes Carrera (2016):  A man enraged by the murder of his father plots to travel to the Plaza de Mazatlan and declare war on the local drug cartel; with Oscar Lopez.

El Rayo de Sinaloa (2016):  A drug runner must fight a ruthless police commander and some rivals to protect his lucrative operation; with Fabian Lopez.

El Sexo Me Divierte 2 (2016):  Desire for romance leads to misadventure and comedic chaos for a group of quirky Mexican denizens; with Radames de Jesus.

Horrid Henry: The Movie (2011):  Henry must team up with several classmates to take down their teacher and save their school from being shut down; with Richard E. Grant.

Les Bleus: Une Autre Historie de France, 1996-2016 (2016):  Documentary examines 20 years of the French national soccer team as their rises and falls coincide with that of their country's fortunes.

Namour (2016):  Aimless valet driver can't be motivated to find a better job even as his fractious immigrant family starts falling apart.

Narcos y Perros (2001):  The business of dealing drugs in Mexico gets more dangerous than it has been due to a war between rival gangs; with Vanessa Del Rocio.

Notes on Blindness (2016):  John Hull, an academic and theologian, dictates numerous audio diaries as he starts to lose his sight; with Dan Renton Skinner.

O Ultimo Cine Drive-In (2015):  Upon moving back home for the sake of his ill mother, a man tries to reconnect with his estranged father who runs a drive-in scheduled for demolition; with Breno Nina.

One 2 Ka 4 (2001):  A young cop dealing with his partner's murder finds himself in charge of his four children and seeks the help of a woman who moves in with them; with Shah Rukh Khan.

Ottall (2014):  A young orphan goes to live with his grandfather in the country, but his life takes a rough turn when his new guardian falls ill; with Ashanth K. Shah.

Sunrise (2014):  A Mumbai police inspector is haunted by a shadowy dream figure and memories of his own abducted daughter while investigating a child kidnapping; with Adil Hussain.

March 16:

5 to 7 (2014):  The life of a young novelist is upended by when a chance encounter outside a New York hotel leads to an intense affair with the wife of a diplomat; with Anton Yelchin.
